One of the most common options, particularly for those flying into the Tucson Airport, is to rent a car while in town. You will find a number of different car rental companies operating in the city, as well as within Tucson. National chains represented here include Alamo, Budget, Hertz, National, Enterprise and Avis. Some local companies also offer this service. Oro Valley airport car rental options are the most convenient for those flying in – Budget and Thrifty are both located at the airport.
Oro Valley Airport
The only airport near Oro Valley, AZ is the Tucson International Airport, located on the south side of the larger city. The airport is easily accessible from Interstate 10 or Interstate 19 – I-10 runs directly past Oro Valley. Onsite at the airport, you will find rental car services, or you can choose to rent a limousine or use a town car or shuttle service to get you here.
Roadways Abound
For those driving to the area, there are numerous options open. The main traffic arteries to Oro Valley are I-10, which comes north from Tucson and passes by the western side of town, or you can take Highway 77, which runs right through the center of town. If you choose to take the Interstate, you will have to disembark at a secondary road, such as West Ina Road, or West Cortaro Farms Road to get to town.
